Cookies and storage

The public site sets no cookies. It uses your browser's storage for these items only. None of them is used for advertising or shared with anyone.
Session storage (cleared when you close the tab)
- dd_sid: a random session id, used only to count visits.
- dd_attr: the campaign tags and referring site from the start of your visit, so later clicks are credited to the right source.
- dd_popup_shown, dd_clicked_video: make sure the sign-up box shows at most once per visit.
Local storage (stays until you clear it)
- dd_notice: remembers that you've seen the statistics notice.
- dd_optout: remembers that you opted out of statistics.
- dd_popup_dismissed: the time you closed the sign-up box, so it stays away for 14 days.
- dd_signed: stops the sign-up box after you've signed up.
The private admin area, which the public cannot use, stores a sign-in session for the site owner. If the site owner adds bot protection on forms, Cloudflare Turnstile may run a check when you submit a form.
